The Seaford Royal British Legion Club’s Carol Service was held at St Leonards Church in the town on December 7.

A good turnout was led by the president and chairman of Sussex RBL, with seven standards on parade.

The service was conducted by the Rev Paul Owen.

A spokesman from the club said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank Morrisons for their support, and at other times during the year.”

Before the carol service, the Seaford Army Cadet Force held its annual Christmas Dinner at the Seaford Royal British Legion Club on December 2.

The guest of honour was the Vice Lord Lieutenant, and the Brighton area Cadet Force was led by Major Bob Morton.

The evening ended with a presentation of awards.
