BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH has revealed he signed on for Penguins Of Madagascar to show off his acting range.

The actor, best known for Sherlock, The Hobbit films and The Imitation Game, voices a wolf in the DreamWorks animated comedy.

“I’m not playing a scientist, I’m not playing someone particularly smart - he thinks he is. It’s a muscle I flex more than people give me credit for, but I loved doing it,” he said.

“People form an impression of what you are from your work, and even within that. I mean, Sherlock is intelligent and serious, but it’s also a funny show.

“But this was a joy, an absolute joy, and something different from what people stereotype me as being. For that alone, it’s fun.”

JODIE KIDD has admitted the theme tune to Strictly Come Dancing still makes her feel ill.

The model, who finished in sixth place when she took part in the BBC dance show in 2008 with professional dance partner Ian Waite, admitted she couldn’t appear on it now.

“No way!” she told Closer. “I feel slightly nauseous whenever I hear the music still.

“To do something where you learn a new discipline is incredible, but I’m a very good sofa judge now,” added Jodie, who is mother to a three-year-old son Indio.

MADONNA has been signed up as the face of Versace’s new Spring/Summer 2015 collection.

The fashion house has released a series of sexy photographs of the pop star, 56, modelling their designs, titled Madonna for Versace.

DONATELLA VERSACE has hailed her as a “true icon”.

CHRIS PRATT is in early talks to be in a remake of The Magnificent Seven.

The Guardians Of The Galaxy star is tipped to play a character named Farraday, reported Deadline.

The 35-year-old could be joining DENZEL WASHINGTON, the first actor to sign up.
