A 47-year-old man is being treated at Brighton’s Royal Sussex County Hospital after being involved in a single-vehicle crash on the B2123 Falmer Road, Woodingdean.
His blue Rover 25 left the road at about 9.30pm on Saturday (October 24) and overturned in a field, leaving the driver with serious head injuries.
He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton. The road was closed while the incident was dealt with.
Anyone who saw what happened or noticed the Rover being driven shortly before it crashed is asked to email collision.appeal or phone 101, quoting Operation Pollington.
