TWO major events are planned at Danehill village hall this month. On June 23 people can go along to an information day from 10am-1pm. They can find out about village clubs and societies, meet representatives from local organisations from Karate to Zumba, see the new meeting room which is available for hire (with free Wi-Fi) or just pop in for a free cup of tea or coffee.
Then on June 27 at an 8pm public meeting by the Danehill Community Centre Committee, draft plans for a new centre - to replace the existing hall - will be presented.
This gives everyone a chance to express their views and give feedback. The centre would include two meeting rooms, a badminton court, kitchen, two changing rooms, two storerooms, a possible community shop and cafe, toilets plus an enlarged car park and outside decking to view the tennis courts and football ground.
