A CHANCE TO RAISE money for lifeboats is being offered at a charity concert organised by women in Wealden District.
Eastbourne Soroptimists Club will host the event at Hailsham Pavilion at 3pm on March 3.
The big event to which all residents are invited to raise much-needed funds for Eastbourne Lifeboats.
Performers tabled to appear so far include talented young people from the Hastings and Rother Area Music Centre, part of East Sussex Music Service.
Guests include the current Mayor and Mayoress of Hailsham, Cllr Jeff and Debbie Bentley-Astor.
The programme includes performances by the Centre’s jazz and blues band, percussion and Flutes ensembles.
Raffle prizes have already been donated by Tesco, Hailsham and David Hoad photography in Hailsham.
Tickets cost £6.50 for adults, £5 for children and are on sale at the pavilion and on line www.pavilionhailsham.co.uk.
Eastbourne Lifeboats are the charity chosen by Soroptimists’ joint presidents this year - Gloria Pearce, who lives in Hailsham and Barbara Stanbury from Eastbourne.
