Christmas show from Seaford Musical Theatre is a cracker

SEAFORD Musical Theatre welcomed Lewes District Council chair Eileen Russell as the guest of honour to its Christmas fundraising show and grand prize draw on Saturday, December 10.

The successful 2010 show conceived and directed by Sharon Turnbull was reprised once again, and guests were entertained with Sharon’s version of Walking in the Air, Angie Wright performing her fairy sketch, Graham Tubb’s Rudolph tap number while Robert Horsecraft and Angie James were Father and Mother Christmas to a cast of elves and toys.

The stage was turned into an igloo setting by Tracie English.

And the show boasted an illusion from local magician Sam Jones and finished with the entire cast singing the Merry Christmas Everybody.

Seaford Musical Theatre’s next production will be Alan Frayn’s Cinderella from January 18 to 22, 2012.
