Clmbing frame damaged in Seaford

Police are appealing to the public for help in identifying the youths responsible for damage to a climbing frame in Crouch Gardens, Seaford.

On Friday June 27 and Saturday June 28 during the evening a group of four youths with micro scooters were thought to have been involved in dismantling the climbing frame.

They may have used a micro scooter tightening tool.

Sergeant Stuart Mullins said: “This was a mindless act of vandalism. Not only has the frame been damaged and other children cannot use it but taking it apart made it likely that a child would get hurt.

“If you or your children know anyone who was involved or who has lost a scooter tool recently, please let us know.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 101 or email quoting serial 1687 of 28/06.
