Worthing’s Connaught Cinema is hosting a cocktail gala reception on November 2 at 6.30pm to celebrate the opening of the 23rd James Bond film, Skyfall (12A).
The evening will include live Bond-themed music by local jazz band RiffRaff, complimentary canapés and a glass of bubbly as well as a display by world number one cocktail flair champion Tom Dyer.
Tom will create samples of cocktails in the foyer as cinema-goers arrive and then take to the stage to demonstrate his flair cocktail mixing skills before Skyfall begins.
Each of the specially mixed cocktails will be made using the UK’s first guarana and caffeine infused vodka, Ver2, made by Vertu Spirits in Shoreham-by-Sea.
Ver2 cocktails will be served in the bar from 6.30pm and again after the screening has finished.
Skyfall sees Daniel Craig return as iconic spy James Bond, whose loyalty to the secret service is tested when M (Judi Dench) discovers her past has returned to haunt her.
It is screening at the Connaught and RitzDigital cinemas from Friday October 26 until Thursday November 15.
