Sussex Coast College Hastings welcomed more than 1,100 prospective students and parents to its open evening at the Station Plaza campus on Thursday, November 13, the busiest open evening since the March 2011 opening.
The first of the college’s open evenings this year was an opportunity for current year 11 students to visit ahead of making their decision on where to study next year.
College principal Clive Cooke said: “We always enjoy welcoming year 11s into the college for our open evenings.
“It is great to show them what their future holds and seeing how excited they are about the facilities we have to offer.”
The college’s Station Plaza campus consists of a fuselage, training kitchen, hair salon, health suite, gym, nursery, coffee shop, restaurant and much more.
The college is opening their doors to the Ore Valley and Automotive campuses in Parker Road on Thursday (November 27), from 5pm to 8pm, and encourages youngsters, particularly those interested in the construction industry, engineering, computing and music to attend.
