Planters along the A259 will soon be looking at their summer best thanks to hard work from Peacehaven Town Council’s ground staff, local businesses and sponsorship from Paradise Park.
The garden centre in Newhaven supplies all the plants for the summer planting along the busy main road.
It is hoped that the planters will be all in place by the middle of June. The town council has also planted poppies to commemorate the start of World War I.
These were planted using the help of Tim Jordan Grounds Maintenance with seeds supplied by Paradise Park at no cost to the town.
Peacehaven mayor Robbie Roberston said: “The summer is a time for cheerful colours and for flowers to brighten up the A259 and the Town as a whole.”
