Newhaven mayor Julie Carr officially opened the new Age UK East Sussex Furniture Warehouse on Wednesday April 23.

Based at Ranalah Estate, Avis Way, Newhaven, with ample free parking and a delivery service, shoppers can pick up second hand furniture at good prices.

The store is on two levels and has new stock arriving daily.

Warehouse manager Charlotte Kelly said: “We are open form Monday to Sunday 10am to 5pm. The team and I look forward to welcoming you.

“We are so thankful to the local community for their generous donations.

“If you have goods you would like to donate or want to use our declutter service give us a call on 01273 646800 to arrange a collection.

“All the money raised through our warehouses helps those in later life in the local community.”

The Age UK East Sussex Furniture Warehouse at Avis Way follows the success of the site at The Old Shipyard, Robinson Road, Newhaven which continues to sell white goods, electricals, antiques and bric-a-brac.
