East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service attended a barn fire in the early hours of this morning (June 6).
Four fire engines from Hailsham, Heathfield and two from Uckfield were sent to a farm in Meres Lane, Cross in Hand, at 1.53am.
Firefighters tackled the blaze, which spread through 300 bales of hay/straw and machinery, with one hose reel jet, one main jet and 1-in-7 foam.
The fire was out by 5.41am and then crews spent the morning damping down and checking for hotspots.
No one was injured in the fire.
Two fire investigators have been at the scene today and will determine the cause of the fire.
