Members of St Peter’s Church in Seaford will be carrying out an ancient tradition called Beating the Bounds on Saturday May 17.
The aim is to celebrate the parish, let people know how far it stretches and exactly where it is.
The walk will start at the Brickfields by the seafront at 9.45am and cover about six miles in all, but some may walk only part of the route.
Walkers will stop at Seaford Golf Club for a snack before finishing at St Peter’s Church in Belgrave Road. It will cost £2 to take part.
Money raised will go towards church funds.
St Peter’s Church is 800 years old.
