Improvements to bus services for Peacehaven and Telscombe have been welcomed by MP Simon Kirby.
The 12 route through Brighton running to Peacehaven will have more frequent services and an extension of the 12X express service through the day.
Meanwhile the number 14 service from Peacehaven will run more often, every ten minutes, Mondays to Fridays in the morning rush hour, and one journey will be extended to Cardinal Newman School on school days.
In addition to this the 27 service running from Brighton to Saltdean will have more and earlier services on Sundays and better connections to Brighton Railway Station following representations from passengers.
Simon said: “The improvements to the 12 services, the 14 route and the 27 are very welcome. My postbag often contains expressions of concern about these services and that is why I campaigned on this issue, calling for the bus company to improve the services.
“The new frequencies and bus links should be of great benefit to my constituents.
“However, more remains to be done with services to Woodingdean and Ovingdean needing greater frequency and reliability. I will be continuing to press the City Council and the bus companies on these matters.”
