Paul Jones and Dave Kelly from the Blues Band will be performing at Hailsham Pavilion tomorrow (Saturday January 11).
Founder members of The Blues Band, Paul and Dave’s tangled and colourful roots go way back into the true undergrowth of the tradition.
Paul is a presenter of his BBC Radio R&B show, a singer and harmonica maestro.
His career began with Manfred Mann in the ‘60s.
Europe’s leading bluesman, Dave, has played with legends such as James Burton and Buddy Guy.
He followed his sister Jo Ann, into the world of professional music in 1966.
Together they say they get a buzz out of taking things down a level, simplifying the music a little, and have their very own personal and individual approaches to a dynamic, rootsy and exhilarating set of Country Blues.
Tickets cost £20 and are available to purchase via the Hailsham Pavilion box office on 01323 841414. You can also book online by visiting Hailsham Pavilion’s website.
