Burst water main in Ringmer causes delays

Motorists should expect delays in Lewes Road in Ringmer as South East Water fixes a burst water pipe today (Thursday May 1).

Manually controlled traffic lights are operating on while the staff repair a burst six inch diameter water main.

South East Water distribution manager Don Knight said: “We apologise to motorists for the inconvenience and want to assure them that we are working as quickly as possible to repair the burst pipe.”
