Car crashes into Uckfield house

Emergency services are at a house in Uckfield this afternoon (Tuesday, February 9) after a car crashed into the building.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service was called to the property, on Mill Drove, at 3:52pm to reports of a collision between a car and a wall.

Upon arrival, they discovered the car had crashed into a house on the corner of the junction with Alexandra Road.

Firefighters remain on the scene making the area safe, while Sussex Police officers are in attendance to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
