Crews called to car fire in Forest Row

Crowborough firefighters attended a car fire in Forest Row this morning (Friday, April 15).

Crews were called to Priory Road at 8.51am. Firefighters used one hose reel jet to tackle the small fire located in the engine of the car.

At 9.45pm on Thursday, April 14, two appliances from Lewes were sent to Lewes Road, Ringmer, following reports of smoke inside a building.

Crews confirmed that the fire originated in a light fitting. The circuit was isolated.
