Crowds flock to Starfish in the Park in Lewes

Starfish in the Park.

Hot, hot Saturday saw live music, fine food and great fun being had by crowds flocking to The Paddock Field in the centre of historic Lewes.

Starfish Youth Music and Starfish Studios, sponsored by Union Music Store, hosted Starfish in the Park 2014, their free acoustic music festival featuring 20 Starfish Youth bands, the fab Folky Fish and ex-Starfishers Chippy Mobbs, Elsa Hewitt, Zoe Williams and Alex Hazle.

To spice the mix, Union Music bands, Self Help Group and Lucas and King, enthralled the crowd and the line-up also saw the debut performance of Adult Starfish ‘Band A’ formed five weeks previously.

One of the organisers said: “Let’s have a great big hand for all the youth bands, playing their own music to a big crowd on a beautiful day. Your performances, talent and creativity inspired us all.”
