Spring has sprung at St John’s Church in Piddinghoe where daffodils are in full bloom.

The 12th century church is one of only three in Sussex with a Norman round tower, with the other two found in Southease and Lewes.

The first reference to the manor of Piddinghoe is in 1220, when it belonged to William de Warrene.
