Hailsham Lions country fair to be held next month

Hailsham Lions Country Fair will be taking place next month.

The fair is due to take place on Sunday June 8 at Broad Farm, Hellingly, from 11am until 5pm.

Alongside a host of exciting stalls, arena events and a fun fair, there will also be a set of attractions.

Dr Tourle will also be holding Blood Pressure testing, free of charge, between 11am and 2pm.

A spokeswoman for the Hailsham Lions said: “This will be a unique opportunity for visitors to be tested by Hailsham’s muchloved doctor.”

Maria Williams will also be presenting the Hailsham Lions Companion Dog Show which will be held under Kennel Club Rules.

Entries for the dog show are from 12.30pm.

There will be Pedigree and Novelty Classes judged by Jill Cranfield and Daphne Bulmer respectively.

Entry fee per class is £1.50 with judging commencing in the two rings at 1pm.

The Hailsham Lions’ will also be holding its ninth annual Charity Golf Day on June 13 at Wellshurst Golf and Country Club, North Street, Hellingly.
