Heathfield women take on charity skydive

Have your say

Two Heathfield women are taking part in a national skydiving event to raise money for a charity which provides support for anyone who has lost a baby.

Jen Stanwick, 28, and Leigh Tullett, 27, have both had sad experiences of miscarriage. That’s the reason they chose the Mariposa Trust for their daredevil jump; the event sees people leaping out of planes all over the country. Jen and Leigh will be taking the plunge at Headcorn in Kent tomorrow (Saturday).

Jump For Love is a tandem skydiving event where people will take part in a 12,000 foot sponsored skydive to raise vital funds to support the work of the Trust. Each person who jumps will be representing the 254,000 babies lost each year through miscarriage or still birth in the UK.
