The Tunbridge Wells Assembly Hall is the setting for ‘Beatlemania’ - Heathfield Community College’s Big Dance Extravaganza next Thursday.

Years five and six from Cross-in-Hand, Burwash, Five Ashes, Mayfield, Punnetts Town, Broad Oak, Parkside, All Saints, Herstmonceux, Dallington and Maynards Green will be taking part in an event which has taken over three months to prepare.

College students will also be making an impressive contribution with contemporary dance from year 11 students and year nine boys dancing to Tequila by The Champs and Happy by Pharrell Williams.

The evening is being choreographed by Ciaran Treloar, Toni Walton and Justine Jackson and primary schools are busy rehearsing for the big night.

The aim is to give pupils the opportunity to perform on a huge stage in front of an audience together with professional sound and lighting engineers to perfect their skills.

The evening will be compered by Ciaran Treloar, the College’s PE teacher.
