People experiencing problems with debt, money, housing and benefits in Newhaven now have a new place to turn for help.
The Lewes District Advice Partnership was this week raising awareness of the services it provides just two months after it launched.
It is based at the Newhaven Advice Hub and Information Centre at 3, Drove Road and boasts specialist advice services.
The project is led by the Sussex Community Development Association, offering advice services from Lewes Citizen’s Advice Bureau and Brighton Housing Trust.
It was funded by The Big Lottery. The wider partnership includes Lewes District Council, the East Sussex Welfare Reform Project, Care for the Carers, East Sussex Disability Association, East Sussex Credit Union, Southern Housing Group, and the Lewes District and Meridian Mature Seniors forums.
More partners are expected to join to deliver services via outreach Advice and Information venues across Lewes District.
The Advice Hub and Information Centre is open Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm.
Call 01273 517275 for an appointment or if you need more information on the services provided.
