Wave Leisure is encouraging people in Newhaven, Peacehaven and Seaford to get involved with Sainsbury’s Sport Relief and raise money for charity.
The fundraising sessions will run from March 21 to 23 and feature swimathons, cycle challenges and exercise classes.
Seaford Head Pool and Seahaven Swim and Fitness Centre will host swimathons, while Downs Leisure Centre in Seaford and Shakespeare Hall in Newhaven will be hosting fundraising challenges on Friday and Saturday.
Wave Leisure managing director Peter Crowley said: “The Sainsbury’s Sport Relief weekend is the perfect way to come together with your family and friends to take on a challenge.
“You can take part either as an individual or as a team, whilst raising money for Sport Relief while you swim, cycle or take a class.”
Wave Leisure will also support Sainsbury’s at Newhaven Harbour on Wednesday March 19 and Friday March 21 by supporting their in store fundraising efforts.
On Friday March 21 there will be a customer versus staff cycle challenge running from 10.30am to 4.30pm at Downs Leisure Centre in Seaford.
The same day a swimathon will run from 7pm to 9.45pm at Seahaven Swim and Fitness Centre.
On Saturday March 22 from 1pm to 3pm at Shakespeare Hall there will be an Exercise Class Marathon, from 3pm to 6pm at Seaford Head Pool there will be another Swimathon, while there will also be swimathons from 5.30pm to 8pm at Seahaven Swim and Fitness Centre and on Sunday March 23 at 3pm to 6pm at Seaford Head Pool.
