Live music day for charity at the Engineer in Newhaven

The Engineer pub in Newhaven will hold a charity bash in aid of the Royal British Legion on Saturday August 2 from 2pm to 11pm.

There will be live music all day with bands including The Firm, Badger Attack and Jelly Head, as well as Snake Bite, Zed’s Dead and Full House.

Visitors can also look forward to face painting, a barbecue and coconut shy, as well as a raffle, tombola and hog roast.

There will also be a cake stall and the Bambino Bop Dancers.

Entry costs £3 but accompanied under 14s go free.

All proceeds from the event at the pub in Railway Road will go to the charity which cares for current and former service personnel.
