A public meeting will be held within the next month to talk about a health charity setting up shop in the former Seaford Day Hospital.
Cllr Sam Adeniji said a date, time and venue for the meeting would be announced soon.
Horder Healthcare has indicated it is willing to work with health campaigners to develop services locally.
Cllr Adeniji said: “After years of campaigning and hard work, this year we hope to see a significant improvement in health services in Seaford.
“Hopefully this year Ultra sound, X-Ray, MRI scan and outpatient community services will be coming to Seaford.
“Horder Healthcare, the new owners of old Seaford Day Hospital, have indicated their willingness to work with us to look at ways to develop Health Services locally.”
