The weather is looking rosy this weekend as the Met Office issues a yellow severe warning of rain.
It is in force from 9am on Saturday November 24 to 9pm on Sunday November 25.
The Met Office said many areas were likely to experience a period of very wet and very windy weather over the weekend.
People should be aware that some flooding is likely, and winds could potentially cause damage to buildings and uproot some trees.
Given the saturated ground, there is potential for the rainfall to lead to considerable disruption in some areas, though at this stage details are uncertain.
The Met Office said equally some regions would escape with minimal disruption.
Yellow is the first level of severe weather warnings issues by the Met Office. It is followed by amber then red.
