The South Downs Singers, a community choir, based at St George’s Church Hall next to Polegate crossroads, is looking for more singers.
The choir, in existence since 2001, sings a range of music from Haydn to Abba and has raised funds for a variety of charities. The choir has around 40 singers but is looking for more members, especially men, to expand its tenor and bass sections. The choir meets on Thursday evenings at St George’s Church Hall from 7.30pm to 9.30pm with a refreshmemt break.
