Organist set to give a colourful concert at St Dunstan’s Church in Mayfield

Organist Paul Hale will be performing at St Dunstan’s in Mayfield on Saturday July 5.

The concert All the Colours of the Rainbow will take place at 6pm.

Paul Hale is rector chori and cathedral organist at Southwell Minister, Nottinghamshire, having previously been assistant organist of Rochester Cathedral, organist of Tonbridge School and Organ Scholar of New College, Oxford, where he studied with Sir David Lumsden and Professor Nicholas Danby, gaining an MA in Music.

He is organ adviser to the dioceses of Southwell and Lincoln, and is in considerable national demand as an independent organ consultant.

Instruments he has designed can be found in four cathedrals, in universities, great churches, schools, and concert halls.

He is also an Accredited Member of the Association of Independent Organ Advisers.

Tickets are available on the door. £8 for adults, £6 concessions and students, under 18s free.

Refreshments (including wine) available during the interval.

Paul also advised the Organ Trust on the recent improvements and additions made to the fine Walker Organ at St Dunstan’s.
