The Hailsham Old Pavilion Society will be hosting a 1940s cream tea on the July 12.
Starting at 2pm it will be an afternoon of 1940s nostalgia finishing at 5pm.
As well as a cream tea with homemade cakes the society will be keeping guests entertained with quizzes, music, fancy dress for the children which is not compulsory, a sing-along, various garden games and much more - all with a 1940s theme.
Organisers said some of the events may bring memories flooding back.
A spokesman for the society said: “Come along and get into the spirit and dress up with 1940s attire if you wish and exchange these 40s memories with your fellow friends and colleagues.”
The event will be held at Lynwood, Arlington Road in Hailsham.
Tickets are available from The Nodding Cobbler, Hailsham Camera Centre and the Pavilion box office.
They are £7.50 for adults and £3 for children.
HOPS members can get £1 off by using their voucher from the June newsletter.
