The Friends of Lewes has organised a family quiz based on the historic plaques around the town.
There are many dotted around. Each one marks the link between that location and a famous person or event in history.
The quiz involves walking around Lewes to find nine of the plaques, and matching them with nine places or buildings where they can be found.
For example, Lewes once boasted its own Turkish Baths, and it was the starting point for a tradesman who became a household name.
To add a twist, you will also have to write down the words missing from each of the photographs of the plaques.
Visit the website www.friends-of-lewes.org.uk to download the quiz sheet – the first prize for eagle-eyed contestants is £50-worth of WH Smith vouchers.
Completed quiz sheets must be returned to Friends of Lewes Plaques Quiz, Lewes Town Hall, High Street BN7 2QS. The closing date for entries is September 6.
