Police appeal

A couple whose treasured family photos were on a computer hard disk stolen in a burglary at their home in Seaford have appealed for its return.

Bill and Brenda Savidge’s home in Upper Belgrave Road was burgled at some time between 12 noon on July 6 and 3pm on July 8. Among the items stolen were a Fuji Finepix FP-HS10 camera, a Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ10 camera and two sat navs - a Garmin Nuvi and a Navman S80D.

However, it is the loss of an external computer hard drive that has particularly saddened them as it contains treasured family photos and photos of Mr Savidge’s artwork.

It also contains training material for his part-time work as an art teacher. The drive is a Western Digital Elements 500Gb model.

If you can help or perhaps have been offered any of these items for sale email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting serial 1380 of 21/07.

Alternatively, call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
