Police search for man whose car was abandoned in Seaford

Police are appealing for help in tracing a missing man from Palmers Green, London, whose car was found abandoned in Seaford yesterday (Tuesday June 24).

Officers were called just after 10pm to an address in Palmers Green, north London, following concerns for the welfare of resident James Turner, aged 28.

His car was found in Marine Parade, Seaford, just before midnight.

Police and Coastguard searched the shoreline, sea and the area in and around Seaford into the early hours of Wednesday and resumed this morning.

James’s family are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare and are appealing for anyone who has seen him to contact police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Enfield Missing Persons Unit on 0208 345 3332. Alternatively, contact the charity Missing People on 116000.
