Sussex Police are appealing for the owner of this Mont Blanc watch to come forward.

Officers recovered this watch in Eastbourne on August 8 and believe it is stolen.

They are now trying to track down anyone who has lost a watch like this or has had one stolen to come forward.

Detective Sergeant Andy Harbour said, “This is a very expensive watch and we suspect it has been stolen.

“We urgently need to speak to anyone who thinks it could belong to them. We can confirm ownership with the unique serial number engraved on the reverse of the watch.”

Anyone with information is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 913 of 08/08 or call 101.

This watch is just one of a number of items police believe to be stolen that they are trying to reunite with owners across the county.

Officers have a large haul of items that were seized during ongoing investigations but which have not yet been able to be linked to crimes.

Among the items are watches, necklaces and earrings and bracelets, as well as other items of jewellery, electrical equipment, toys and bags.

Visit property.sussex.police.uk to see if any of the items belong to you. If you think they do, click on “enquire” and send your details to an officer to contact you.
