A portrait by a local artist will go on display at a Chelsea exhibition next week.

Lucinda Rendall, originally from Offham, but is in the process of moving to Alfriston, is part of the Lots Road Group of figurative artists.

They are holding the exhibition to celebrate mothers, grandmothers and mothers-in-law.

Lucinda’s portrait is of her late mother-in-law, Susan Rendall who also lived in Offham for many years.

All exhibition portraits will also feature in Motherhood, the book, available online priced at £16.69. The exhibition features 16 portraits by figurative artists who met when studying portraiture at The Heatherley School of Fine Art in Lots Road, London. The exhibition will run at The Chelsea Library, Kings Road, London from Thursday March 20 until March 30.

The book contains all the portraits featured in the exhibition. To buy the book visit http://blur.by/1n0HsKF
