The Royal Oak in Barcombe is hosting the Sussex All-Day Singaround on Saturday, January 18.
It’s a wonderful day of mainly traditional songs, with people coming from all over the country to take part.
Everyone gets the chance to sing a song of their own choosing, working in circuits round the room.
It starts with an hour of informal tunes at 11am while people arrive. Then the singing begins at noon, with a break from 6–7pm, finishing with a good hour of glorious choruses.
Ballads and the occasional instrumental party piece are welcome, too. Free admission with collection. The pub serves food throughout the day.
