A charity football tournament at Uckfield Leisure Centre has raised more than £900 for the Sussex Heart Foundation.
And organisers say money is still coming in.
The charity event was organised by Friday-Ad Media Group in partnership with Freedom Leisure, which operates the facility on behalf of Wealden District Council.
Ten teams comprised of local businessmen took part in the seven-a-side tournament which was held on the 3G football pitches from 9am until 5pm on June 7.
Ransom Building Service was the overall winner and was awarded tickets to see a match in a box at the Amex Stadium in Falmer for topping the tables.
Each team donated to take part and a raffle was also held for family swimming vouchers, guest passes, a full body massage and more to raise extra funds.
Freedom Leisure Centre manager Stuart Crawford said it was a great event and it was wonderful to see so much support for the charity.
He said: “We were more than happy to host the tournament.
“It was great to see so many local businessmen and women come together and support the cause, whilst improving their own fitness levels and having fun.
“We entered a team of members and staff but the best team definitely won on the day.
“There were some brilliant performances and I’d like to congratulate everyone who joined in and helped raise a fantastic amount of money for the Sussex Heart Foundation.”
