Video: flooding causing problems in East Sussex

Waiting for Video...

Heavy rain on already saturated ground has been causing problems on East Sussex Roads today (Friday February 14).

The A270 Lewes Road southbound in Falmer from the A27 junction was just passable because of flooding.

Meanwhile there was surface water on the A272 Lewes Road in both directions in North Chailey between the A275 junction and the B2183 Beggar’s Wood Road junction.

The B2102 in Blackboys is blocked in both directions around the Stonebridge Lane junction, because of flooding.

Southern has also reported there has been a landslip at Crowborough, cancelling the train from London Victoria to Uckfield.
