Crews tackle fire in Kingston, near Lewes

Firefighters were called out to tackle a blaze in a village this afternoon (Saturday, March 18).

Four appliances attended the scene at The Street in Kingston, near Lewes, after receiving reports at around 1.15pm to say a fire had broken out in the loft of a converted barn.

Crews were still tackling the fire as of 3.15pm and a cordon was set up in the area.
