Man in court for Hailsham attack

A MAN has been charged with an attack on a Hailsham man that left him with serious injuries to his face and neck.

Lucas Lamb, 29, unemployed, of Walton Close, Eastbourne, was arrested on Monday morning, May 21, and will appear in custody at Eastbourne Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning, May 22.

He is charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent to the 52-year-old man who received life-changing injuries to his face and neck in Hailsham High Street at around 1.30am on Sunday May 13.

A 27-year-old man from Heathfield, arrested on Monday May 14 on suspicion of causing actual bodily harm to another man in the High Street just before that time, remains on police bail until June 9 while enquiries continue.
