Man’s jaw broken in “nasty attack” at Trek Club in Seaford

A REVELLER’S jaw was broken when a fight erupted at the Trek Club in Seaford on Saturday January 28.

The punch up involved several people, during which a 20-year-old man was struck in the face by another man.

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack which happened around 2am.

The victim was taken by ambulance to Eastbourne District General Hospital where it was confirmed that his jaw had been broken.

He was discharged from hospital on Saturday afternoon after an operation.

The suspect is described as white, about 5ft11, with dark short hair, and in his mid-twenties.

He was wearing a blue hooded top with writing printed on the front.

There were no reports of any other injuries and nobody was arrested at the time.

Detective constable Claire Langley said; “We are still establishing what led up to this very nasty attack, which has left the victim with a most severe injury.

“We would like to hear from anyone who was in the club and saw what happened, or from anyone else who may know who the attacker is.
