Police are looking for 20-year old Max Nevin, wanted in relation to conspiracy to commit burglary at a house in Burwash in December last year.

He failed to answer police bail on October 1.

Nevin, who comes from Battle, is white, 6ft 1in, of slim build, and with dark brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a black bomber style jacket with a hood and black trainers, in the Hastings Road area of Battle at around 11am on Wednesday October 15.

CID officers in the area identified Nevin while he was out walking.

Once police officers approached him but he made off down the railway line, losing a single black trainer in the process to evade arrest.

Sergeant Martyn Waterson said: “Anyone who sees Nevin or knows where he may be is asked to contact us via 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting serial 324 23/12/13. You can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
