Police are looking for any information on a man who was threatened with a knife on Tuesday (October 2).

The victim, a 49-year-old man, was walking on Station Approach in Heathfield at 5.15am when he was approached by two men, one of whom is believed to have had a knife.

The victim was shaken but not hurt.

One of the suspects is described as white, between 19 and 21, around 6ft tall, of slim build with acne underneath his chin.

He was wearing a black baseball cap, a grey hooded top, a black quilted jacket, blue jeans and mismatched white trainers.

The second suspect is also described as white, between 17 and 19, 5ft 8in to 5ft 10in tall, of stocky and with more acne across his face.

He was wearing a navy baseball cap with the letters “NY” on the front, a black hooded top, a dark coloured quilted jacket without sleeves, black jeans and black trainers.

PC Andy Gardiner said: “Anyone with information or who was in the area at the time is asked to contact police on 101 quoting serial 170 of 2/10.”
