A valuable book of Australian stamps was stolen during a burglary at Kingston Road, Lewes, between Tuesday September 16 and Friday September 19.

The green bound stamp book containing 1,000 to 1,500 Australian stamps was stolen after the doors were left open to ventilate the house whilst it was being decorated.

Detective Constable Richie Davidson said: “This appears to be an opportunist incident and I would appeal for anyone who has been offered a stamp book to get in touch so it can be reunited with the owner.”

Any witness or anyone with information is asked to email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting serial 804 of 17/10.
