Crowborough police have donated £200 to the Forest Row Village Support Network to help them advertise their services.
The Forest Row Village Support Network is a new initiative that provides various kinds of support for mature and vulnerable residents in the village.
Forest Row Village Support Network secretary Simon Couldry said: “Forest Row Village Support Network are looking for support from everyone to help reduce social isolation and we are very grateful to the police fund for assisting in publicising our service.”
PCSO Ian Priddy said: “It is a pleasure to be able to present this donation to the Forest Row Support Network as they provide a much needed and valuable service to vulnerable and sometimes lonely residents in the local community.”
The donation comes from the Police Property Act Fund (PPAF), made up of monies received by the police from property confiscated by order of the court and then sold.
