Dead woman found on Seaford beach

A WOMAN’S body was found on Seaford Beach on Friday May 25.

Sussex Police were called to Chyngton Way at around 9.40am following the grisly discovery.

The cause of the woman’s death is currently unexplained and the coroner has been informed.

Police and the coroner have been unable to identify the woman or understand how she came to be on the beach and are appealing for information from the public.

They would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a woman near the beach during the night or early hours of the morning on Friday.

She is described as white, 5ft6ins of medium to heavy build, 30 to 40-years-old, with fair complexion and dark brown hair which is possibly shoulder length.

The woman was wearing blue jeans, a predominantly blue floral top and yellow sweatshirt.

She was also wearing two silver coloured rings, a Swatch watch and a silver coloured necklace with three charms on it.

They would like to speak from anyone who recognises the description of the woman.
