Police have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a burglary at a shop in Newhaven.

An electrical store in the High Street was broken into at around 3.45am on Wednesday, July 8, with CCTV footage showing the intruder apparently forcing his way in from the rear of the property.

He made no attempt to hide his face as he made off with several thousand pounds’ worth of computers and mobile phones, including an Apple iPad and iPhones, Sony Playstations and a Samsung S5 phone.

Police would like to hear from anyone who recognises him or who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously around Newhaven town centre in the early hours of that morning.

Please email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting serial 434 of 08/07. Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
