THREE DOGS were stolen – and are still missing – after thieves targeted a farm.
The theft occurred at Oxendean Farm in Jevington sometime between 5.45pm on November 25 and 9am the next day. Police said padlocks on kennels were cut and two bitch terriers, and a bitch lurcher, were taken by the thieves from the Jevington farmland site.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Enquiries have been locally but no trace has been found of the dogs and the motive for the theft is not known.”
He added: “This appears to be an isolated incident in the area and we have no other recent reports of burglaries or thefts of animals locally.”
Anyone with any information who can help Sussex Police find the missing three dogs phone 101.
