Mayfield Pheonix Players’ next production is a Music Hall being staged from November 27-29 at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall.
Audiences will be invited to join in, heckle the chairman and ‘be thoroughly spoilt by waitresses and waiters’.
Everyone is invited to join in ‘Down at the Old Bull and Bush’ for an evening of riotous fun and frolics. Director Derek Holland explains that music hall began in the 19th century by Mr W Evans who turned his basement into a late night supper room and in 1849 saw the acquisition of The Caterbury Arms where Music Hall shows were presented.
Following in his footsteps The Phoenix Players are proud to present their own Victorian Style music hall starring talented solo artistes, duets and quartets.
